People who come to Nepal they can’t escape Pokhara before leaving a home country, Pokhara is the gateway of Annapurna base camp trekking, Upper Mustang trekking, and many other popular trekking routes in Annapurna region. In Pokhara, there are many things to do but if you are wondering for a day hike in Pokhara then Pokhara Dhampus day hike is the best way to spend your time around Annapurna Himalayan ranges. Pokhara Dhampus day hike starts after an hour drive from Kande village. From Kande to Australian base camp trail lead gently steep and this is about 1 and half hour walk. Australian camp height is 2100m, which is normal height for beginner hiker and also perfect hike trail for children’s. We can see stunning Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Lamjung Himal, and Fishtail. After exploring and taking some nice snaps in front of amazing mountains we will hike down to Dhampus village. Dhampus is beautiful Gurung villages with majestic views of the Annapurna ranges, landscape, and local people cultures. From the halfway of Dhampus after passing through villages we will be hiking all the way down to Phedi to ride back to Pokhara. this trip can be organized all around the year, for more details please contact Day Tours Nepal team.
