Terms and Conditions for Booking a Trip

Booking Policy

To book a tour with us, you are require to submit a scan copy or photocopy of your passport. You must also make a down payment of 20% of the total cost at least 30 days or 1 calendar month before your trip departure date. Failure to make the down payment on time may result in the cancellation of your booking. The balance of payment can be made (in Nepalese or US dollars) upon arrival in Kathmandu. We reserve the right to cancel your trip if you do not make the payment on time.

 

Postponement, Cancellation & Refund Policy

If you need to postpone your trip, you will transfer your earlier payment to your new trip. If you cancel your trip, the 20% down payment will be deemed a cancellation fee and is nonrefundable. However, if the cancellation is due to unforeseen circumstances beyond your control, you may reschedule your trek to another date. You must notify us of any postponement, rescheduling, or cancellation via email or phone at least 14 days before the trip departure date.

 

Mode of Payment

You can pay in cash or bank transfer, and you will be responsible for any bank service charges or fees for SWIFT payments.

 

Acceptance of Risk

Although we prioritize your safety, some aspects of the tour may involve risks to your health and safety that are beyond our control. Therefore, you must assume full responsibility for any risks involved in participating in the trek. Additionally, you must comply with all local laws and regulations during the trek. Failure to comply with the law or engaging in any illegal acts that cause or are likely to cause danger, distress, or material annoyance to yourself or others will result in the immediate termination of your tour without any refund.

 

Liability

We are not responsible for any loss, damage, accidents, injuries, illnesses, incomplete tours, or changes in schedule caused by unforeseen circumstances such as bad weather, strikes, natural disasters, changes in government regulations, or any other factors beyond our control. Any additional costs incurred due to such circumstances will be your responsibility. While we act in good faith, we cannot guarantee the performance of any third-party providers, such as airlines, buses, and hotels. We reserve the right to alter routes, itineraries, or departure times to ensure safety.

 

Incomplete Tour

We are not responsible for providing any refunds if the tour is incomplete due to reasons related to the client, including but not limited to illness, death of family members, urgent matters at home, delayed arrival, or other unforeseeable circumstances, whether voluntarily or involuntarily. No discounts or refunds will be provided in such cases.

 

Flight cancellation and delays

Flight delays and cancellation are common during monsoon in Nepal. It is recommended to keep a few extra days for contingency purposes. Also, take insurance that covers flight delays and cancellation. Any losses or extra cost incurred due to flight delays and cancellation is not our responsibility.
